ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – An attorney for the owners of the former “Club Lure” in downtown St. Louis is responding to a judge’s ruling, continuing today’s hearing on a neighborhood petition to shut it down.
John Bouhasin says, “As it sits right now, the city does not have the required signatures to contest a continuation of the license of Club Lure.”
Bouhasin says Municipal Judge Margaret Walsh is asking all parties to be back in court December 15th to hear testimony from one party on the validity of two signatures.
Bouhasin says his clients are doing whatever it takes to keep their doors open and to keep their liquor license, “They have changed the name. They have a new theme in the bar. They’re trying to attract high-scale or upper-scale clientele.”
The property is now known as “Club Amnesia.”
Owners are appealing another judge’s ruling to revoke the business’s liquor license amid complaints of violence, noise, and litter outside the former “Club Lure” establishment.
