INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Some people in Illinois felt this morning’s earthquake centered 50 miles north of Indianapolis.
People in at least three other states felt it, too.
Government scientists say they don’t expect any damage reports from the magnitude 3.8 quake.
The U.S. Geological Survey lowered its initial estimate of a magnitude 4.2 earthquake.
The USGS said on its website that the quake, which was about three miles deep, occurred at 8:55 a.m. CT Thursday.
