UPDATE: Jennings Man Charged With Murder

JENNINGS, Mo. (KMOX) – A 38-year-old man from Jennings is accused of killing his live in girlfriend.

The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s office charged Keith L. Stubblefield for one count of Murder in the First Degree and one count of Armed Criminal Action.

Brandis S. McCollier was found shot to death in her apartment in the 2600 block of Tyrell Monday.

Police say a six-year-old child and infant were in the apartment during the shooting.  However neither were injured.

The six-year-old was not the couple’s child.

Police are still looking for a motive for the shooting, but believe the couple had been arguing for days prior to the shooting.

Stubblefield is currently held on a $500,000 bond.

If this man actually killed his girlfriend why would he turn himself in and if the neighbors heard multiple gunshots then there should have been reports of multiple bullets found? Now they did say that there were the 3 boys that had broken in their place about 6 times….then turn around after this incident they came right back in and stole everything…Doesn’t that compromise evidence? Personally I think something is fishy going on with those boys & something isn’t adding up….The reports said that she was at a computer desk on the computer. How is that so if they had no computer? Common Sense. The system really need to get it together because if this man is innocent, he is suffering more than he should. GOD Bless both of their families…May she rest in peace!! You are with GOD now so just watch over your children and keep them safe.
