2nd Arrest Made in December Slaying
ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – A second man has been arrested and charged in connection with a double shooting early last month.
St. Louis police responding to the report of a shooting on December 4th found Michael Sutton, 34 of St. Louis County, slumped over in the driver’s seat of an SUV, dead from a gunshot wound to the head.
A second man was found lying on the sidewalk nearby.
He’d been shot in the face and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
The following week, 25-year-old Andre Hamilton of the 5300 block of Wells was charged with 2nd degree murder, armed criminal action and possession of a controlled substance in the case.
He’s jailed on $350,000 bond.
This week, police arrested a second suspect identified as 24-year-old Steven A. Jordan of the 3700 block of Neosho in the city.
He’s jailed without bond for 1st degree murder, armed criminal action and 1st degree assault.
