ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Superintendent Kelvin Adams has a vision for the St. Louis Public Schools and he’s calling it “Greater Options.”
Adams unveiled some of the ideas to the district’s special administrative board and the public on Saturday.
One plank involves some boys-only and girls-only schools.
“In the proposal for Status IV [are] gender-specific schools, two elementary and two middle schools,” Adams said.
Adams says some town hall meetings will be held in the district in late January and early February to further discuss changes.
A board vote could come as soon as February 17th.
