MADISON COUNTY, Ill. (KMOX) -  The Madison County Sheriff’s office has arrested 49-year-old Mark A. Reynolds of Hartford on child porn charges.

Local authorities were contacted by police investigators in Massachusetts earlier this month about a “lewd photograph” that was sent by computer to an underage girl there, along with a request that she send a picture of herself back via e-mail.

The image was traced to Reynolds’ computer and he was arrested Friday on indecent solicitation of a child, four counts of child pornography and two counts of failing to register as a sex offender.

He’s being held on $200,000 bond.

A search warrant was executed at Reynolds’ home in Hartford, where a computer and digital items were seized as evidence.
