St. Louis Man Goes to Federal Prison for Selling Counterfeits

Megan Lynch

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) – A St. Louis man who ran a business out of his house will call federal prison home for a while.

The US Attorney’s Office says 56-year-old  Dirk Lee Robinson operated “Jeans and Things” from his address on Margaretta Avenue, where he sold knock-off Nike, Chanel, Coach and other goods.

Robinson is sentenced to nearly three years in prison, plus he’s been ordered to hand over 30-thousand dollars in cash and property.

He pleaded guilty last fall.
