Man Charged in Armored Car Stickup

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) –  A St. Louis man’s jailed on $100,000 bond in connection with an armed robbery earlier this week.

Prosecutors say 45-year-old Dedrick Edwards approached two employees of Garda Cash Logistics as they were walking out of the Shop ‘n Save in the 4600 block of Chippewa Wednesday afternoon.

He displayed a gun and demanded the bags of cash they were transferring from the store to their armored car.

The suspect fled on foot but about two hours later, Edwards was taken into custody.

Arresting officers recovered a handgun and some cash from the robbery during the arrest.

Edwards is jailed on charges of 1st degree robbery, armed criminal action, and unlawful possession of a firearm.

    I can imagine how other employees from Garda armored car company were laughing when they saw who rubbed their colleagues:)))) This fat guy can’t run 1 mile:)))
