EDWARDSVILLE, IL (KMOX)-Two young men have been indicted for last month’s brutal murder of a Cottage Hills woman, whose body was found in her burning mobile home.
A Madison County Grand Jury has indicted 21-year-old Donald Phelps on two counts of first degree murder and one count each of residential arson and concealing a homicide. 19-year-old Joshua Breden has been indicted on charges of residential arson and concealing a homicide.
Prosecutors say Phelps stabbed 47-year-old Angela Lish several times after the three had been out together. Phelps and Breden then allegedly set fire to her mobile home.
Investigators say Lish had known one of her killers for quite a while, they described the other as an acquiantance.
