ST. LOUIS, MO. (KMOX) — St. Louis County reports nearing a 1,000 flu cases this influenza season, that’s way down compared to the last few years.
County health officials report 992 flu cases since October.
Last year, there were more than 2,200 and three years ago, there were more than 3,500 for the flu season.
But we’re not out of the woods yet.
Eighty-one flu cases were reported in St. Louis County last week, about 40 of those are in St. Charles County.
Those numbers have been holding steady for the past few weeks since peaking in mid January.
