Police Arrest Man in June ’10 Shooting Death

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) –  St. Louis police believe they have solved a nine month old murder with an arrest announced Wednesday.

23-year-old Immanuel Taylor was sitting in a friend’s car in the 6100 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Drive on the afternoon of June 13, 2010, when a man walked up to the car.

He fired multiple shots into the vehicle, striking Taylor in the head.

Taylor died at the scene.

The Circuit Attorney’s office has issued warrants against 30-year-old Kenneth Hurse for 1st degree murder and armed criminal action.

A judge ordered that Hurse be held without bond.
