O’FALLON, Mo. (AP) — A judge has revoked probation for a former assistant football coach at a St. Louis-area high school who had sex last year with a 16-year-old student.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that 25-year-old Reginald Hicks Jr. was ordered to stay away from social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter as one of the terms of his probation.
But the day after he was sentenced, Hicks was on Twitter slamming the judge who agreed to probation.
Those tweets landed Hicks back in court last week. The judge revoked his probation and he was given the seven-year prison sentence he initially evaded after pleading guilty to statutory sodomy and statutory rape. The crimes occurred while he was working as a coach and hall monitor at Fort Zumwalt West High School in O’Fallon.
