Getting to the Game

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — Its not a city holiday yet, but MoDOT says they will not have any lane closures on state highways inside the Interstate 270 loop and the Mississippi River on Opening Day.

The 11th Street Ramp on eastbound I-64 will also be open for Opening Day. Rehabilitation work will resume on Friday.

The 11th Street Ramp however will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays Monday – Friday and it will open for the weekday morning and evening rush-hour times.  As of now, this schedule will continue throughout the 2011 Cardinals baseball season.

Earthquake seismic retrofitting work will effect various lanes closed on eastbound I-64 between 21st Street and 8th Street throughout the 2011 season.

MoDOT says they will only close one lane on the interstate during Cardinals’ games, so motorists can easily get to the game on time.

Metro Link will run as schedule on game days. To find plan your trip, head to Metro Link’s website.
