Minor League Baseball Coming to Busch Stadium
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — A chance to see future St. Louis Cardinal talent is coming to Busch Stadium.
Minor league baseball will come to Busch Stadium this season as the Cardinals play host to a match-up between their Single-A affiliate, the Quad Cities River Bandits, the Kansas City Royals affiliate, and the Kane County Cougars on Thursday, May 26, at 7:15 p.m.
Tickets go on sale today at cardinals.com and are priced at just $10. All tickets are General Admission and gates will open one hour before first pitch.
The Midwest League contest will be the first regular season minor league game at Busch Stadium III. This contest will be the final game of a three-game set for the teams as the first two will be played May 24-25 at Quad Cities’ Modern Woodmen Park.
“We are excited to have our Quad Cities affiliate host a game at Busch,” said Cardinals Senior Vice President & General Manager John Mozeliak. “This will give our fans a unique opportunity to see some of the talent that will one day be a part of the major league club.”
