Blagojevich to Appear in Court During Jury Selection

CHICAGO, ILL(AP)-A spokesman for Rod Blagojevich says the former Illinois governor will make a first appearance at his corruption retrial Thursday as questioning of would-be jurors in court begins.

More than 100 potential jurors showed up in the federal
courthouse to fill out 38-page questionnaires this(Wednesday) morning. That marked the official start of the retrial.
Courthouse spokesman Joel Daly says Judge James Zagel hopes to have a jury impaneled by next Wednesday.
