Lane Closure at Boone Bridge Postponed

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) – The Missouri Department of Transportation has canceled next week’s lane closures on the westbound Daniel Boone Bridge over the Missouri due to cool temperatures.

Since projected night time temperatures will be ranging from high 40s to low 50s, crews cannot complete the necessary maintenance work.

The lane closures have been rescheduled for the week of May 2nd. Crews will close up to two lanes each night, starting at 10 p.m., to complete maintenance work, weather permitting.

All lanes will be reopen by 5 a.m. the next morning.

Plan ahead to avoid work zones by calling 1-888-ASK-MODOT or visit MODOT’s website at
