EAST ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - A Metro East man faces up to life in prison after admitting to an online relationship with a teenaged girl.
49-year-old Mark A. Reynolds of Hartford pled guilty Monday to charges of enticing a minor and receiving child pornography.
Prosecutors say in January of this year, Reynolds engaged in a sexually explicit chat with a 16-year-old girl from Massachusetts.
He asked for and received sexually graphic photos of her, and in return sent her explicit photos of himself.
Because Reynolds is a registered sex offender, he faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in prison and could be given a life sentence when he’s sentenced in August.
