UPDATE: Alleged Bank Robber in Police Custody

ST. LOUIS, MO. (KMOX) –  Police say they’ve arrested the man who held up a northside bank Monday.

The man walked into the PNC Bank at 4323 N. Grand just after 9 am Monday and handed the teller a note demanding cash.

He then fled on foot with an undetermined about of money.

The suspect’s name and charges against him will be released once he’s officially charged.


The PNC Bank on N. Grand was robbed Monday morning and bank surveillance footage gives a clear picture of the suspect. 

St. Louis Police say the suspect entered the bank and gave the teller a note announcing the robbery.   Witnesses say he left on foot after taking money from the teller.

The suspect is described as an African-American male with a dark complexion, 45-50 years of age, around 5’7 with a gray Afro.  He was last seen wearing short-sleeved button down khaki shirt and khaki pants. 

The PNC Bank is at 4323 North Grand.
