ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — Mexican drug lords are marketing a new kind of heroin to our kids.

It’s cheap, strong, and looks like other pills teenagers are popping.

As the KMOX News series “Heron: Killing a New Generation” continues, Megan Lynch tells us any of our young people — anywhere — could be at risk.

Great story….as a parent, I thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Heroin, bath salts, synthetic marjuana. Many parents are ignorant of the easy availability of these drugs/substances, the devastating results of their usage, and that this is an epidemic never seen before. It is like no other drug. This was an excellent story of great importance. Unfortunately, not enough parents are getting this information and understand that their child is just one hit away of destroying their lives. The side note of using Heroin is the escalating crime rate that affects all of us.

One hit away from ruining their lives? Apparently, you’ve never done that and condemn the drug from what you’ve heard from other non-educated people who know nothing about the drug. I know many people who have tried it and quit. Many people who do it everday. Doctors, lawyers, people you wouldn’t expect. Its definitely a insanely addicting drug and can destroy your life if you are dumb and let it.
