ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – Officials at the Fabulous Fox Theatre in St. Louis say a small, early Sunday morning fire is forcing them to cancel Sunday’s two sold-out performances of “Jersey Boys.”
Fox Spokesperson Erin Hentz was a guest on KMOX’s Total Information AM Sunday, mentioning minor smoke and water damage to the theatre’s lobby, “Out of concern for our patrons, staff, cast and crew of Jersey Boys, we have canceled Sunday’s shows.”
Hentz said the fire was contained to a mechanical room over the lobby and did not spread to the lobby or auditorium.
People holding tickets to either of Sunday’s performances of “Jersey Boys” may exchange them at the Fox box office beginning Monday morning, or by calling Metro-Tix at 314-534-1111.
Hentz says the goal now is to resume performances of “Jersey Boys” on Tuesday night.
