CLAYTON, Mo. (KMOX) – A St. Louis County police officer is making quite a name for herself in amateur mixed martial arts.

Ashley Cummins is training to participate with Team USA in the MMA International Tournament May 30-June 4 in the Ukraine.

Cummins is 8-0 and ranked #1 in the world in her weight class (click here to see her most-recent fight & interview).

Cummins has said she intends to turn pro after the World Championship.

As for her “day job,” Officer Cummins is currently assigned to the West County Precinct.
