Rolla Soldier Killed in Afghanistan

ROLLA, Mo. (KMOX)-A soldier from Rolla, Missouri has been killed in Afghanistan.

29-year-old Army Specialist Bradley Melton died May 16th of injuries sustained when insurgents attacked his unit with an IED in Zabul Province.

Governor Jay Nixon has ordered all flags at state buildings to be flown at half-staff on May 31st in honor of Specialist Melton.
