ST. LOUIS (KMOX) -  Two arrests have been made now in connection with a videotaped attack in which a woman was slammed over the head with a crowbar.

The assault itself came to light over the weekend when footage of the incident turned up on a hip-hop website, worldstarhiphop.com

The attack reportedly stemmed from an argument that erupted following a video shoot for a rap song.

Police at first believed the incident had not been reported at the time, but scoured their records and found a pair of related 911 calls on the evening of April 17th.

An 18-year-old female is charged in the attack itself and a 20-year-old woman is accused of taking part.

The woman who was hit is 19 and “continues to recover” from the attack.
