ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — Two public hearings are scheduled this week for the proposed South County Connector.
It’s a road which would cut a path from mid-to-south St. Louis County.
Dave Wrone, of the road department, emphasizes there are no specifics on which homes or businesses could be wiped out.
“There has been no final determination, were still very early in to the process,” said Wrone.
In fact, he says neither the County nor MoDOT has the money to even think about starting construction.
Wrone says the meetings are just to gauge commuter interest in a new roadway.
That first meeting runs from 4-to-7 tonight (Tuesday) at the Affton Community Center on MacKenzie Road.
