ST. LOUIS (KMOX)–DeSmet Jesuit wide receiver Durron Neal made his decision today on his college choice. On a college visit to Oklahoma, where he was also attending camp, Neal opted to become a Sooner according to DeSmet Football Head Coach Pat Mahoney.

“What receiver wouldn’t want to play in that offense? They threw the ball over 600 times last season alone. It’s a dream offense. I know that if I work hard, and do all the right things, I can make an impact there,” Neal said on his way back from Oklahoma.

The 6-foot-1, 195 pound Neal was also considering Oregon, Mizzou, Alabama, Arkansas, Michigan, among others.

Neal, who played quarterback, receiver, running back, defensive back and returned kicks accounted for more than 1,900 total yards and 31 touchdowns last season as a junior.

Rivals.com has Neal ranked as the 32nd prospect in the 2012 class.
