ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) – A man is hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle near St. Louis City Hall.

Witnesses tell police he was attempting to walk through traffic on Market Street near Tucker when he was hit by a Chevy Suburban.  The driver of the Chevy says he didn’t see him.

The pedestrian was not in a crosswalk.  He was last reported in critical but stable condition.

The driver was not cited.
