Gas Station Robbed in South City

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — Two masked men barge into a service station in south city then a shot rings out.

It all happened just before 6 a.m. at the Conoco on South Broadway, according to e1308324595778 Gas Station Robbed in South City They were demanding cash.

As the clerk began to empty the register, a second employee came from a back office and one of the robbers fired at him.

The employee was not hit, and the suspects fled the scene with the cash and the workers’ cell phones.

An aerial search of the area disrupted traffic on nearby I-55 at one point as drivers slowed for a look.

The suspects are still at large.
