High-Flying Bell Headed to Missouri

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMOX) – Add another recruit to the Mizzou basketball program.

Senior guard Keion Bell has announced via Twitter that he’s leaving Pepperdine to enroll at Missouri.

Bell averaged nearly 19 points per game last season, before being suspended for his team’s final eight games.

Known for his leaping and dunking ability, the Los Angeles native will have to sit out a season and become eligible to play for Coach Frank Haith and the Tigers in 2012.
