Feds Bust Former Brentwood Administrator

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) -  The United States Attorney’s Office says 52-year-old Christopher A. Seemayer of Fenton pled guilty to embezzling Brentwood City money to use for personal gambling expenses at the Casino Queen casino in East St. Louis, Illinois.

Court documents reveal Seemayer, the longtime City Administrator for the City of Brentwood from January 2010 March 5, 2011  embezzled approximately $30,000 by taking numerous unauthorized cash advances on the City of Brentwood credit card.

Sentencing has been set for September 14, 2011. Each count carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and/or fines up to $250,000.

This case was investigated by Detectives of the Brentwood, Missouri Police Department.  Assistant United States Attorney Hal Goldsmith is handling the case for the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
