ST. LOUIS (KMOX) –  Actor Kevin James, best known for his role in the TV sitcom “King of Queens”, will be in St. Louis Wednesday to help promote his new movie Zookeeper.

Fittingly, he will appear at the St. Louis Zoo, which is billing itself as the only zoo in the country to host a premiere event for the movie.

James stars as a kindhearted zoo caretaker who learns that he can talk with the animals, and they can talk back.

James will greet fans on the red carpet located between Discovery Corner Train Station and The Living World beginning at 9 am.

Zoo officials are also inviting families to attend special events that tie in with the movie’s premiere, scheduled for 10:30 am at the Herpetarium and 2:30 pm at the gorilla habitat.

Admission to the zoo and the red carpet event is free.

Tickets were already given away via radio, TV and other media promotions.
