Two Men Shot – One Fatally – in N. St. Louis

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) –  One man is dead, another critically wounded in a shooting in north St. Louis Tuesday.

Police say 26-year-old Lance Branscomb and another man were seat in a pick-up truck when they were shot just before 4 pm in the 1300 block of Semple.

Branscomb was struck in the side and chest and was dead on arrival at a local hospital.

The other, unidentified man is hospitalized in critical condition after he was able to run from the shooting scene and flag down a passing motorist.

There’s no word on any possible suspects in Tuesday’s shooting.

    I went to school with Lance, he was honestly a very nice and humble person. I can think of no one who can speak ill of him. He was loved by many. R.I.P Lance~Gone way to soon

    Knew the guy in high school, seemed like a stand up guy, definitely never came across as a thug. Love goes out to his friends and family.
