Man Charged in Mascoutah Standoff

MASCOUTAH, IL. (KMOX) – Officials have charged a 45 year old man in connection with a stand off in Mascoutah, Illinois.

45 year old John Baker was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and wreckless discharge of a firearm.

Baker had been asked to leave a home on West Main Street by his roommate.  He fired several shots and barricaded himself in an upstairs bedroom.
