Mo. Beaches Closed due to Bacteria

Megan Lynch

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMOX) – High bacteria levels have forced closure of swimming beaches at four Missouri state parks.

The Missouri Department of Natural Resources says closures are at Cuivre River,  Finger Lakes, and Mark Twain State Parks, as well as the Grand Glaize Beach at Lake of the Ozarks State Park.

The Department tests weekly for E Coli.
