ST. LOUIS, MO. (KMOX) — The show must go on. Officials with Fair St. Louis say activities will continue today after Sunday night’s concert and fireworks were cancelled due to heavy rains.

Events start today at 11 a.m., the Air Show kicks off at 1:30 p.m.

After that, Jake Austin and City Limits, winners of the Fair St. Louis music video contest, will entertain the crowd for more than two hours beginning at 3:30 p.m, then the Five and Dimers at 6:30 p.m. Headliner Montgomery Gentry takes the main stage at 8 p.m. To wrap everything all up we’ll see those spectacular 4th of July fireworks at dusk weather permitting.

The National Weather Service says more than two inches of rain fell on parts of the area Sunday forcing the cancellation of the Maroon Five concert and the fireworks display.
