Limbaugh Gives $100K to Joplin Tornado Victims

JOPLIN, Mo. (AP) __ Conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh is
chipping in $100,000 to help Joplin recover from the deadly May
tornado.
The Missouri native brought the cash along with a
tractor-trailer load of bottled tea to a Fourth of July event in
the city. The donation will go the Joplin Tornado First Response
Fund.
Mayor Mike Woolston said in a city news release that Limbaugh
knows “the heart of Joplin is still strong.”
Limbaugh chose Joplin to visit because the city received the
most votes in a website contest for examples of American pride.
