CLAYTON, Mo. (KMOX) – With the third robbery in a month, some people may be wondering if it’s a gamble to go to a St. Louis area casino.
St. Louis County Police Chief Tim Fitch says its the crooks that are placing sorry bets.
“There’s virtually not an inch of that property that’s not covered by surveillance of one manner or another, either by some technology or by human beings.”
Fitch says full-time county officers patrol the River City Casino where the latest armed robbery occurred.
He says because of that, officers were with the victim in moments and hot on the trail of two suspects who eventually crashed their car in Illinois.
