ST. LOUIS (KMOX) –  St. Louis police say they were able to arrest five young men suspected of smashing their way into an electronics store early Friday morning.

The suspects broke out a glass door and window of the Radio Shack in the 3500 block of Hampton and stole an unknown number  of items from inside.

Witnesses were able to alert officers right away, and with the help of a police helicopter the suspect vehicle was tracked from above until it was abandoned in the 3800 block of Folsom.

They tried to run but all were captured.

The suspects are all between the ages of 20 and 22, and their names will be released once charges are filed.
