Driver Shot, Strikes Police Car in South St. Louis

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) –  A 19-year-old man’s hospitalized in stable condition after he was shot was driving near 6th and Chouteau early Monday.

The man was driving south just after 1 am when someone in another car began firing shots, striking the driver in the arm and leg.

His vehicle hit a patrol car, but an officer in that vehicle escaped injury.

A passenger in the victim’s car suffered a graze wound to the neck but refused medical treatment.

The shooting suspect remains at large.
