Four Hurt, One Seriously, When Boat Overturns on Mississippi

ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. (KMOX) - Four people were injured, one seriously, when a boat tipped over on the Mississippi River Sunday afternoon.
39-year-old Rudolph Sanzoterra of St. Charles was at the wheel of a 26-foot-long speedboat when it hit a large wake while traveling upstream.
The boat overturned onto its left side.
Sanzoterra suffered serious injuries and was air-lifted from the scene to St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur.
Three others in the boat suffered minor to moderate injuries.
