Woman, 86, Becomes 4th Heat Victim In City Of St. Louis

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) –  With the heat warning extended through most of this week, there’s word of a fourth heat-related death in the city of St. Louis.

The latest victim is an 86-year-old woman who lived in the 4500 block of Red Bud.

Family members who told authorities they checked on the woman every day discovered her body Saturday morning.

She had window-unit air conditioners but they were not working properly.
