Band Director Accused Of Sending Student Explicit Emails

HERMANN, Mo. (KMOX/AP) –  A high school band director from Hermann Missouri is accused of exchanging sexually explicit emails with a student.

Among the charges against 31-year-old Joshua James are furnishing pornography to a minor and “using a child in a sexual performance”.

For the sake of accuracy, James’ resignation preceded the allegations about his misconduct. A public information statement from the Gasconade Co. R-I School District is available at its website, http://www.hermann.k12.mo.us.
