GODFREY, Ill. (AP) — Authorities say three people face charges in the heroin overdose death of a Godfrey man, including his girlfriend who has been charged in another drug death.
Thirty-year-old Joshua Rogers died in May at a hotel. Police allege his girlfriend, 27-year-old Angela Halliday of Moro, had been selling one of her prescription drugs to get heroin money.
Halliday is in custody at Madison County Jail. Her bail has been set at $150,000.
She is also accused of obtaining heroin for a friend who overdosed in April.
Two other warrants on charges of drug-induced homicide were issued Friday in connection with Rogers’ death. The felony is punishable by up to 30 years in prison.
Police are seeking 31-year-old Brian Beckham of East Alton and 41-year-old Adam Butler of St. Louis.
