MAPLEWOOD, Mo. (AP) — An investigation continues into the crash of a train and a tractor-trailer in suburban St. Louis.
A man sitting in his pickup waiting for the train to pass suffered minor injuries in the accident that happened Monday morning in Maplewood.
The truck got stuck on the tracks and the train struck the rear of the tractor-trailer, sheering off the door of the trailer.
The tractor-trailer then lurched into a picking waiting at the crossing signal, injuring a 40-year-old man who was a passenger in the pickup.
Union Pacific spokesman Mark Davis says no one on the train crew was hurt.
