EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. (KMOX) –  A St. Clair County jury has convicted 37-year-old Dorian Brown for a shooting outside an East St. Louis nightclub in 2008.

Brown got into an altercation with a bouncer at Club Phoenix on the night of July 19, 2008.

He left the club but returned with a gun and opened fire, striking the bouncer in the shoulder and leg and hitting a bystander in the leg.

Police never recovered the weapon, but after about an hour of deliberation the jury found Brown guilty on all counts.

He faces a minimum of 18 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
