Arrest Made in Missing Preschooler Case

DUNKLIN COUNTY, Mo. (KMOX) – Police are searching for the body of a missing three-year-old from Senath, Missouri.

The Saint Louis FBI office  issued a statement early Saturday, reporting that a suspect has been arrested in connection with Breeann Rodriguez’s disappearance. They did not say what lead them to a suspect.

They say the suspect is not related to the Rodriguez family, but is from the Dunklin County area.

The Dunklin County Major Case Squad, State Highway Patrol and the Conservation Department are all assisting with the search for Breeann’s body and bicycle. The exact area was not disclosed.

Authorities say no additional information will be made public until the suspect is formally charged.

Breeann disappeared while riding her bike outside her home last Saturday. SAARA or AMBER ALERTS were never issued, because authorities say the criteria was not met.
