WOOD RIVER, IL. (KMOX) - A Wood River woman has been missing since Monday and her family and employer are worried.
41 year old Leslie Dona is the Assistant Finance Director for the City of Wood River.
When she didn’t show up for work Monday police began an investigation and found a surveillance video of Dona withdrawing three hundred dollars from an ATM at Mid Rivers Mall in St. Peters. Police say she also purchased gasoline twenty minutes later in St. Peters.
Leslie Dona lives along in Wood River. Police checked her home and found no sign of foul play.
The only things missing from her residence were her car, keys, a wallet and a cell phone. Police say that phone has been turned off.
