ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Police on both sides of the river are looking for bank bandits.
Earlier today a U.S. Bank in East St. Louis was held up for an undisclosed amount of money.
Two men walked into the bank at 100 North 8th Street. One of them asked for change for a twenty dollar bill and then pulled out a gun.
No one was hurt. Both fled on foot.
Meanwhile police in O’fallon Missouri have released a surveillance photo of the man who robbed the First Bank on Highway K in O’fallon Missouri.
The man with a salt and pepper beard , wearing a Texas Longhorn cap, walked into the bank located in a Dierberg’s store and demanded money. He got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
The O’fallon, MO. bandit is believed to have robbed two other banks, both in St. Charles: The First Bank inside a Dierbergs store at 2021 Zumbehl road on May 10th, and a U.S. Bank in a Schnucks Store at 1950 Zumbehl Road on Sept. 14, 2010.
