In this edition of the Fontbonne University Charlie Brennan Book Club, two special authors join the broadcast at the Missouri Athletic Club in Downtown St. Louis.
First up on the broadcast was former Astronaut and Skylab 4 pilot, Colonel Bill Pogue, who is the author of “But for the Grace of God”. Part of the NASA program all the way back to the Apollo missions, Col. Pogue has a very unique perspective on early space exploration, plus has some comments on the potential future of going to Mars.
The second guest on the broadcast was former Navy SEAL and Rhodes Scholar Eric Greitens, author of “The Heart and the Fist: The Education of a Humanitarian, The Making of a Seal”. The St. Louis native, who is only 37-years-old, already has a fantastic life story that began with him just wanting to get out into the world. Plus, Eric informs us of The Mission Continues, a non-for-profit organization that supports veterans and honors the fallen.
