ST. CHARLES, Mo. (KMOX) — Police in St. Charles say it could be a couple of more hours before they’re able to give the all-clear at St. Charles High School, which remains on lockdown.
Police say a note threatening harm against students and the school itself was found in a locker just before 9 a.m.
Students have been systematically evacuated to a football field across the street, and are being released to their parents.
Meanwhile, police are conducting a room-by-room search of St. Charles High and report that nothing’s been found so far.
