LSU Replaces Oklahoma at #1

NEW YORK (AP/KMOX) – Top-ranked Oklahoma’s 38-28 victory over Missouri Saturday night didn’t do enough for Associated Press voters to keep OU atop their college football poll.

Oklahoma falls to 2nd in the AP Top 25 rankings released Sunday.

Louisiana State takes over the top spot, by 49 votes.

Alabama, Boise State, and Oklahoma State round out the top five.

Illinois (4-0) stays at 24th after beating Western Michigan.

Missouri received one vote in the poll and enters a bye week at 2-2.
